Pak Rat Self Storage makes every effort to provide clean, dry and secure storage. As a renter, it is to your advantage to purchase insurance for your items stored. To insure your contents, please ask the on-site manager for insurance information.
- Do not store food or plant material in your unit. We are in a rural area and rodents may enter your unit if you do store food or plants.
- Defrost your refrigerator before storing so the water will not ruin anything in your unit or an adjoining unit.
- Clothes are best stored in plastic containers with snap tight lids.
- Wrap mattress in plastic and tape seams.
- Do not store fine antiques, firearms, fireworks, gasoline or any explosive or flammable material in your unit.
- Pak Rat Self Storage provides visqueen (plastic sheeting) for use (inside units only). All concrete floors release small amounts of moisture over time. If you have boxes it is a good idea to put down plastic to cover the floor and leave the excess around the edges. You can cover up the edges with a top sheet of plastic to reduce dust accumulation.
